Update: As I expected, the USB charging ports died completely just a few weeks after purchase. I strongly DO NOT recommend this product. Previous: I replaced a defective OEM module in my two-seater. It lacks an on/off switch (like most of these outlets), but it loses USB power randomly and frequently (the phone beeps like it's unplugged and then plugged back in). I care about safety and quality. I've only had it for a week or so and it's already problematic. I haven't tested the outlet yet, but will do so soon. My guess is that the transformer or the cover on it is defective and that it won't last long. I would buy another one as it's the only one I've seen that fits my couch well enough.
