I chose to work remotely in my RV. I wouldn't go DC to DC back to DC to power my MacBook, so why not get something that goes DC to DC? OK, so much for that. It's getting hot FAST. Then, before I've even charged more than 12% or so, it shuts down from overheating. So I pull it out and my laptop drains 10% battery before it feels cold again and I can start again with 12% power. I'm slowly regaining 2% of my laptop's battery at a time. until I alertly remember to check the temperature of this piece of scrap. All in all a great idea, poorly implemented. This is an inverter.
