We have these for our Border Collie/Lab in our back yard and our front yard as needed. This works really well with our dog and helps keep him tethered when needed. It's a slightly longer leash, 16ft, so it has a decent amount of room to walk around the leash, and the coiled shaft holds up well when stuck into the ground. It took a bit of time and effort to find a good spot on our rocky ground to anchor the stake well to the ground but once in place it holds up great and is quite strong and stable. The peg and leash are made of steel so the dog can't chew through them, they are very durable and of excellent quality.
