I bought an Altec Lancing Boombox about 15 years ago. The kind you put your iPod in. It still works and sounds great after being taken on camping trips, on fishing boats, and in the backyard with heavy use. It's a little taped to the speaker grille and looks a bit shabby, but it still works. When I decided I needed a battery powered Bluetooth boombox, I knew I needed the same quality and great sound. So I went back to the brand that has served me so well for so many years. This sound bucket did not disappoint. It has the same great sound I have come to expect from Altec Lancing and is easy to use. I am happy with the purchase. Note. Some reviews say they got an older version of this speaker with only 10 hours of battery life. I received a new Soundbucket XL with 20 hours of battery life. Posted a photo of the box.
