These things are great. I just wish they had more choices. So I just bought a NEW car and didn't want to make any changes that could later be blamed for a possible future problem, so I didn't want to install resistors on this particular car. .These bulbs are BIG but the seam needs to be just right to go through the sockets for installation. I installed matching bulbs around the perimeter and had no problems with the gap. I had to modify this particular bulb, but without any design or manufacturing flaws. I just needed a different lamp number which this company doesn't make but this one was close enough, all I had to do was grind a mounting pin to fit my 2021 Elantra but that seems like the power or mount for it not to affect. Matter. As I write this it is early July in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was 119 degrees here today. When I sit at a traffic light for any length of time, the rear turn signals (that bulb) go into thermal safety mode (or something like that) and flash hyper, and a CAN warning ⚠️ pops up on the dash until they cool down. As this was mentioned by the manufacturer and makes sense to me as someone who understands how heatsinks and resistors work, I don't see this as a problem with a lightbulb. Did I mention how bright they are? 😎 It's amazing! I see reflections in other people's headlights and fog lights there, and in all traffic signs as far as I can see. I haven't tinted any of my lamps, but if you do, they're perfect for the reduction in transparency that comes with it. They're a little pricey, but after installing them all I've got the money covered and I'm happy with the results.
