Fast external NVMe SSD
The case looks great with its design, style and low blue light. The two cables that come with it are sturdy and the carrying case is handy. As expected, the drive heats up after a lot of reading or writing. It's fast: a 48GB folder copies a 48GB folder to a drive from the iMac Pro over Thunderbolt 3 in under 40 seconds and back in under 20 seconds. Using DiskSpeedTest v3.2, a standard 480GB hard drive has an average read speed of 2480MB and write speed of 1810MB. With the Sabrent Rocket 2TB installed, reads are 2460MB and writes are 2000MB.
