I received nothing of value for this review and paid the full retail price for the product. 4K monitor. It does. When plugged in, a warning screen will appear as the computer boots up stating that the computer is only consuming 60 watts and may need to drain the battery during use. So I wait to connect until the computer boots up. I tested it by first plugging it in with a fully charged battery and running YouTube at maximum screen brightness for two hours. The charge stayed at 100%. Then I shut the battery down to 80% and plugged it in. The battery charged while I continued to use the computer and didn't seem to be any slower than a Dell brick (although I didn't time it). Graphics processing is harder to keep up with the demands of the processor, but it's great for everyday use - and a lot cheaper than replacement Dell PSUs. And it can charge two other USB devices at the same time.
