Review on Karter Scientific 213A2 Borosilicate Beaker by Elmito Yeager

Overall I think it's a great kit for hobbyists. Not sure how it will hold up under heavy use. I bought two sets and plan to use mine primarily for making lotions and conditioners by placing the jars in a water bath for over an hour. I used two jars in the hot water bath (one for conditioner, one for lotion). groomed. There was no annoying noise or interference during the warm-up. The glass seems to be thinner, so I'm hesitant to recommend them for anything other than a light hobby. All glasses arrived safe and sound, each in a separate box. I received two mugs with a manufacturing defect but nothing prevents me from using them. The printing on the side of one of the lenses is off, but not so much that I can't see the markings. There is a crease on the edge of one of the lenses (seen above my thumb in one photo and against the pear orange fabric in another) which again doesn't seem to affect functionality. If you are looking for good basic glasses for beginners, this is a good option.
