I jokingly said I wanted a pillow made out of a brick wrapped in a thin layer of cotton. I've shopped all over the area and all the "extra" hard "pillows" were such soft pieces of junk. This pillow is exactly what I wanted. It's very heavy, but just enough so that you don't get a headache like sleeping on a rock. I mostly sleep on my side. It immediately improved my sleep compared to my attempts at knitting a more traditional pillow. They give you extra buckwheat to get the pillow you want. I feel like it more or less gives you the ability to manipulate the pillow into anything you prefer. She makes a slight rustle. It does not bother me. Buckwheat has a slight odor. Maybe a little earthy? I do not mind. I can't smell him anymore. Pillow cover and zipper are very durable and high quality.
