Review on Brother SA126 Narrow Foot Black by Jen Coleman

use on the Brother XR1300 which this foot is *not* advertised for*. It does fit the machine, but I think because it doesn't line up properly with my machine's needle I can't get a good straight stitch that really catches the "spool". After a few trial runs with stitch 01 (slightly to the right) I noticed that it catches the caterpillar about 50% of the time and doesn't make a very secure seam. I tried stitch 43 but the stitch goes to the outer edge of the roll so that's not good either. I just worked across the hem of the 08 lined dress and set the stitch width to 3 and it turned out great, just not as smooth as the straight stitch.
