HDMI does not send sound to TV with ipad 4th gen
I bought this specifically to connect the new iPad Pro 4th gen to the TV if needed. A video image from YouTube was adequately displayed when connected, but there was no sound on the TV. The audio continued to play on the iPad. Also, when I tried to play a video from Hulu or Netflix, neither the sound nor the picture went to the TV. The description states that the product has been updated for iPad Pro 2018, 2020. I would advise anyone considering this product for video use with any modern iPad to think twice before purchasing. waste of money for me!
