I love this product but I STRONGLY recommend that you DO NOT use it on a black car unless you plan on polishing it afterwards. I used this on my 3 year old black Sierra. I'm good at removing dirt. You may feel some resistance when you first go through the paint. But it will make your color "weak". As you know, the color is not perfectly smooth. It has its ups and downs. This "blunts" the high points a bit. So you have to use a Swirl Mark Remover to polish them back. The Chemical Guys OG Bar doesn't. (Tried both with the right lube). I used this yesterday on my 17 year old white Passat which I have never used anything on. It has hardly been washed except in the rain. Did a great job! (I only used car soap as a lubricant). I actually washed it a week before and found it clean. This thing took off so many "things" that I was almost speechless. Now the color is incredibly smooth. Maybe there are "weak" spots? I'm sure, but they'll be hard to see. I would recommend this for light colored cars without any extra work, dark colored cars if you want to add a few hours of polish.
