Review on πŸ“» S50 Home Dock for Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver by Rodney Mendoza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

"Does not work on any FM frequency">> Uhhh yeah that's because IT SHOULD NOT. It's not made for that. This is not an FM transmitter like a car kit. If you want to listen to it on FM at home, use the car kit that came with the S50 and buy a $19 AC adapter from Sirius.com (S50-HPS). Why did you spend $100 on something you knew NOTHING about? "Won't work on a laptop unless you use [sic] external speakers." RTFM! It is designed to be connected to a home stereo system, which is strangely stated in the description. The function of the Home Kit is to listen to a stereo system through a special connection, sending a much clearer signal than FM. There are 4 ways to listen to the S50: through car stereo speakers with the included car kit; through headphones, with headphones (or other headphones/earbuds) turned on; via your home stereo/home theater system with home kit; and via any FM radio with the included car kit + additional power supply. It's really not that hard to understand if you take 90 seconds to read what they do. The S50 Home Kit does *exactly* what it's supposed to do, and it does it perfectly. It includes everything you need to start listening to high quality digital satellite radio from your S50 plus some extras: docking station, power cord, 2 sets of audio cables, remote control (with battery) and antenna.
