I bought these after reading all the rave reviews and they were professionally installed by a master electrician. After triple checking all the new wiring, my electrician decided there was a short in the LEDs preventing me from using the arcing switch and it would only work with a ailing switch. I bought them for the flexibility. Color temperature and CRI rating of 90+. The color temperature ranges from 3000K - 4000K - 5000K. I seriously doubt the 3000k rating though. At 3000k the lumen output drops off sharply and comes very close to a yellowish soft white. It's not comfortable at all, especially when I have Phillips and Ecosmart 2700k-3000k bulbs at home, I really think they are above the 90+ CRI rating. At 5000k, the headlights are reminiscent of aftermarket HIDs in cars you see on the road. There is an almost purple hue. If you're after good bright daylight light output and CRI at "4000k" are good if not great. But at 3000k the light output drops off significantly and is approaching 2700k, which is not comfortable, so I think below 80 CRI. At 5000K the light has a purple hue. It's not a good deal, Lithonia, and you're probably better off picking a homemade brand from Home Depot or Lowes.
