I bought three speakers of different brands for our three computers. I tested them all on the same computer with happy music. These speakers weren't that good. The sound was very tinny, like the speaker was in a box. The difference in sound between all three was noticeable. I thought about returning it but then decided to hook it up to my TV as I wanted a speaker bar for it. It actually works very well for that. The spoken word sounds good, the music not so much. Now the remote control is used. If I need a higher pitched sound than the TV is giving me, I just turn it on and adjust the volume from the couch. We used it last night and it made a huge difference in the movie we were watching. I have a speaker on a shelf under the TV. The TV still plays sound, but the speaker complements it almost like stereo. I'll keep it because it fills that need at a much better price than TV models.
