Enough people say they can't make this work (and almost stopped me from buying it) that I thought I'd mention why I think they can't : You see, no matter how bad It is a simple product, it has a small instruction manual. And it mentions that you have to wait 3 seconds before you start sliding over the pouch to give it time to heat up. Also, there's a hint that you should slide over thicker packs more slowly to give them time to cast. On the second try I was able to completely seal a bag of Tostitos chips once I got the timing right. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I only received it last night and haven't had a chance to see the pouch being resealed multiple times, how long the seal lasts and how much better it keeps the chips from going stale. .
