It fits :D goes well with tote bags and travel products

I wasn't sure what size to buy for my 15 pound Jack Russell. I decided to try the largest size and I'm happy to report that my dog fits and seems quite comfortable. The product looks solid but only time will tell if it is. I love that I can wear it crossed at the back. it is more convenient. The tail opening is a must and such a great bonus. I can't imagine stroking my dog's tail. Dogs with very long bodies may not be comfortable with the leg hole position, although you can just keep your front legs over the top and not in the holes. .I hike a lot and like to take my dog with me, however he ages slowly and cannot hike more than 4-5 miles. I hike about 10 miles or more so I bought this carrier to be able to take and carry my dog when his little legs get too tired. It's a good carrier and the price is very reasonable. Update: I had the opportunity to test this stretcher while hiking. Two things that I think need improvement. First, Velcro doesn't stay put. sometimes clicks. Second, my dog's moving paws would rub against the fabric around the opening where the paws enter and this would irritate the skin, so be aware. I'll add some padding there so it doesn't rub against the skin as much. Luckily I noticed it pretty quickly so my dog wasn't hurt. It's still a good backpack with a few flaws. Also, my 15 pound dog fell more like a 50 pound rock when carrying him on my hike. Pretty heavy on the back. My shoulders hurt too.

Pros
  • handy
Cons
  • so far so good
