Ordered 2T (son just 2 years old and small for his age) Goes with everything except pants that just need a hem and if your son medium is too tall, he's got a lot of length, he's just short (30th percentile for his age)! I also ordered the 4T for my 4.5 year old son because he is skinny and average height for his age. Everything is tight, maybe ONLY right. He could wear it today and fit perfectly but the wedding is 6 weeks away. If your child is a bit overweight on the belly, I would enlarge it. I have just ordered a 5T for my 4.5 year old son and will post a review comparing the two sizes. as soon as it is released (the set should arrive this Saturday). Above all, the quality definitely matches the price. Nothing was wrong with any of the items and a tie or bow tie is supplied which was a nice touch. I LOVE this tuxedo set and think its price is amazing compared to anything else you can find!
