I've used the same Singer sewing machine since 1968, but lately I've been concerned about the power pedal getting too hot. I love my base machine and hate giving it up, so I bought this all-purpose pedal and IT WORKS! My car works again. I used it all day yesterday and the pedal stayed cold. I'm a lucky tourist. I highly recommend this item as long as it is compatible with the machine. I got lucky as my car model was nowhere to be found on the internet but the plug looked like it would work and the seller said it would. He was right! Many Thanks
