I was skeptical after reading so many negative reviews but could be bought used like new for half the original price with easy free returns. So I took a chance and was very happy with the result! Didn't have to assemble it as I bought it used so it was a pleasant surprise. Also, based on the mixed reviews, I wasn't expecting to be able to change the height, although the photos show that there are three tabs to adjust the height, and in fact I was able to change the height to the maximum. My only reason for buying this desk was to sit cross-legged underneath and work on my laptop. I checked the maximum width of the legs before purchasing to make sure I could do it and this table allows me to do just that, exactly how I wanted it!
