Review on 🌡️ No-Contact Infrared Forehead Thermometer for Adults and Children - Fever Alarm, Accurate Readings, Memory Function, Batteries Not Included by Darin Marshall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not exactly. Tested on hospital-calibrated devices.

In short, NOT EXACT. Those who say yes don't have access to calibrated thermometers like I do. I am a medical worker in a hospital emergency room. All of our thermometers are calibrated in a laboratory using precision equipment. I took this thermometer to work in the ER and tested the different thermometers we use. We use oral, infrared and temporary. I took my and a few colleagues' temperatures using hospital thermometers and this Amazon thermometer. The Amazon thermometer showed at least 1-2 degrees. If you're talking about a person's temperature, that's a lot. It makes a big difference when the hospital thermometer reads 101.9 and this device reads 99.9. I'll box this guy up and send him back for a refund. To get a good home thermometer you have to spend some money, and I don't mean $30. Plan on at least $75 or more to get quality. Take these other reviews with a grain of salt. This review I gave is the real deal. Oh, other functions, easy to use. I like the unit. It's just not accurate. In times of COVID, the accuracy of thermometers is very important.
