Not very helpful. fits cotter pin connector

They can be good for a few things but can only be used on VERY VERY thin wires. Regular gauge automotive electrical cords will not work with them. It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I found it utterly useless. It might work with a doorbell wire, but that's about it.
