This camera has a wide angle lens and really good night vision. So when we experienced video loss ten months after purchase, I was a bit disappointed. The camera itself has four settings that can be toggled by holding the joystick in direction for five seconds. We hung ours on a tree. Belka managed to switch the camera's joystick to a different setting while ruining the cable, but it was imperceptible at first as there was no visible damage. As you can imagine we were having a little trouble figuring out how to get the camera working properly again, so we contacted tech support and a woman named Doris helped us out. She was very patient and walked us through all the steps until we realized that the camera itself was fine, just set the wrong setting. She showed us how to set it up properly and then we realized that at that moment the cable was mixed up. It was about twelve emails back and forth over several days. We were able to order another cable and now everything is working properly again. I'm glad it wasn't a camera and that the solution was easy.
