They look great but still have a warning light on the dash

Fitted in my 2012 Volkswagen Gli as daytime running lights They look great but still have a warning light on the dash, I'll pull it out I'll look after them search and look Update: Before I pulled out the pears, I went to the garage and bought a small pack of pear fat for 1.50. Removed the bulbs and put some on the bulb, reinstalled and now there is no warning light on the dash? I don't know if it's the lube or if it just loosened up a bit the first time.
