We are both allergic to many things and many species of animals. This includes 4 heavy shedding dog breeds, at least 1 of which will sleep on a bed and up to 3. Switching to this detergent has helped a lot with allergens when washing dog fur blankets. It also seems to remove urine odor from dog bedspreads or blankets much better than other cleaning products we've used. It also eliminated the musty odor of several blankets stored in the warehouse. Whatever it starts to smell, it comes out with hints of eucalyptus and nothing else. I wouldn't mind if the smell lingers, but once it goes through the dryer, even on low heat, the laundry doesn't smell unless we've used something else with an odor, like dryer sheets or fabric softener. Highly recommended for removing stray odours, allergens or mold spores from anything you can put in your washing machine.
