When I first received this splitter, it worked very well. But after some use things just seemed to go from bad to worse and you had to flip the switch back and forth many times trying to connect if you were lucky as mentioned in another review. Today I decided to open the switch and see if there is a visible problem. Well, first of all, one of the two screw heads was torn off! Then, when I opened the suitcase, I saw that someone was already inside somewhere. I'm a techie and could tell that something was soldered and it didn't look like the manufacturer said it should have. Was it returned by someone else or was the seller trying to fix it? No idea, but somehow I didn't expect it to come from mfg. like new. Of course, it was already too late for a possible guarantee. waste of money
