I won't bother to write all this if the product means nothing to me. I have 9 cats. and if the dump did not dip into the petko, i would not have tasted this garbage. Given a choice I would choose the green pack over the red or the lavender as the green doesn't process like the other two and seems to have set in and taken longer than all 2 weeks. I buy lavender just for the price and smell. If it smells really bad, you may not want to give your cat Purina or corn in their diet. Clean deposits leave almost no odor without a filter. Does it have dust on it? Yes, but you will find the same thing on a woman's face with foundation. This means it won't blow up, but its paws will be lightly powdered. Much more absorbent than newsprint/recycled fillers, but tray fillers are not as durable as this filler. I can recommend Nutshells to those who want "no dust" and have a maximum of 2 cats, as the preference for this product suits the owner rather than the pet. As for me with this product, it's day and night. Experience with 3 liters of clay and the dust I collect while shoveling compared to this product. I don't have to cover my face with a dust shirt while cleaning. DAS made me an instant customer and the smell is pleasant (on me the smell lasts about a week before dissipating). Garbage companies keep the good stuff for small bags and retail stores, but with loose materials like Amazon, sediment is sometimes added to the bottom of the sillo or their storage pen.
