I bought these to trim against acne but ended up using them when my knee was very scraped. I washed the wound and hit one of them the next day. I ended up having to change the bandage every other day because the wound was weeping so profusely, but it eventually healed completely in just over a week, which seemed so much faster than some of my previous injuries! It also made the healing much more painless. Usually scratches on the joints hurt a lot, but in a humid environment my scratch practically does not hurt.
