It's actually not a standard US single cap
Maybe it fits Chinese boxes or something, but you have to screw them into the drywall to cover the standard US box. You would take it a step further by simply making your own socket cover for free. I'm guessing they might have been for the little orange low-voltage mud rings, but the item's name is misleading at best. You have to hope that most people would rather throw them away than go to the UPS store.
