I'm a jack of all trades but this is my first time trying to replace glass on a tablet/phone. Such a pain! First, replacement screens for the Nexus 7 are sold in two versions: glass only (this option) and framed glass. The Glass Plus Frame version will have an intermediate level of difficulty - split in half, remove many screws, transfer the bits from the old frame to the new, flip and you're done. The glass-only version (this one) is an advanced difficulty level; you do everything the same except get the old glass out of the frame (hours of prying, breaking, scratching, always trying not to cut your fingers on the broken glass), then get the new glass (stick tape on for half an hour). and mount the glass carefully ). The difference in price is not worth it - take glass + frame (also sold by this seller). Please note that there is no user manual for this product, but many YouTube videos show how to do it. Anyhow, this was done with minimal damage (the plastic frame was melted a bit while trying to heat the old glass to loosen the adhesive), but the screen works well and looks great. The old tablet now works great with NetFlix, YouTube and Prime Video, so I'm happy with it. Excellent packaging and delivery by the seller.
