At first it didn't work but I fixed it

the battery didn't work when I wuast but then I noticed that the black plastic coating covered part of a contact enough, so that the spring contact in the walkie-talkie could not touch the metal contact. I trimmed the plastic a bit clean and now it works great. This may be why others have reported their batteries failing. Hope that helps. gin
