I prefer colored light and my husband loves white light. Of course I win decorating arguments, but when I saw that I could get both multicolored and white lights in one strand, I jumped at it. First of all I love the style/design of the lights. These are modern lightbulbs. One strand is 164 feet and 500 LEDs. It doesn't look like it and I didn't measure it, but it was more than enough to cover our 7.5 foot tree. I actually really liked it because I was able to place the lights closer together. I love it when my trees are light. There are 11 different lighting modes. The amazing thing is that we can light colored and white lights at the same time, which we have done several times. We mostly leave them multicolored, but I put them on white lights for my husband. White lights are beautiful and more romantic. We can just let them burn, flicker or combine. Speaking of romance. These lights also have 4 different brightness levels. Basically I keep it at 100% but when we're watching a movie I turn the brightness down to 25% or 50%. They are waterproof, so suitable for indoor and outdoor use. It comes with a remote control which is very handy. There is even a timer function. We can set the light to turn off automatically. Beautiful lights and I am very happy with them.
