I bought this because I have a shower stall that I put my soap in but the shower water poured over it and it fell apart. It happened to be raw African black soap so there were black streaks on the shower wall which was very ugly. African black soap is huge so I needed a huge soap dish that could be hung away from the water to hold my soap and keep it out of the water stream. I bought it thinking it would be the perfect solution. Pros 1) It's really big and easily fits my black soap. 2) It has an extremely aggressive adhesive so you can put it anywhere in the shower and I really had to reposition it. and did so with success. Cons 1) It's stainless steel painted plastic 2) The assembly instructions are terrible so I had to rearrange the base and I was very happy that the glue was aggressive. To install it: 1) Clean the surface where it will be installed and let it dry completely. 2) Align the mounting brackets with the basket on the wall so the mounting brackets are within the width of the basket. 3) Use a level when trying anally to keep the basket level (I). 4) Using a pencil, draw a circle around the cups to determine where to place them. 5) There are three items in each cup. Adhesive backing, cup and screw cap. All three share. 6) Place an adhesive backing on each circle you draw. 7) Place the cup so that the grooves are horizontal. This is where the horizontal wire is at the top of the basket. 8) Place the top wire of the basket into this groove on the two cups, making sure the two wire loops on the back are pressed against the wall. They are needed so that the basket hangs exactly vertically, as the basket can be adjusted from the wall by hanging it on the cups. 9) Screw the covers back on. If the instructions were correct I would give this product five stars. I constantly provide product installation/assembly instructions in my Revain.com reviews because I find it very frustrating trying to figure it out myself. I feel like the manufacturer should do this, but I really do rely on and value reviews, so I try to be helpful in my turn. Hope that helps.
