I'm pleased with my choice of this durable and affordable USB A to Micro B 3.0 cable. My external hard drive is too expensive and I don't want it to get damaged or risk data loss from all that accidental tugging on a cheap cable. My LaCie external hard drive's original USB 3.0 cable was too short AND the micro-B end didn't fit. A loose and ill-fitting Micro-B end was causing the external hard drive to improperly eject from my Apple Mac Book Pro every five minutes or every time my hand "rubbed" on the cable. I'm actually surprised that I was able to find a well-designed cable that was cheap on the first try.
