Lid too loose

I would like to give 5 stars, but the lid problem is too problematic. The build quality is good in my opinion. The box I received did not have any damaged corners as others have pointed out. The glass pieces are rectangular rather than square, making assembly a bit tricky after removing the plastic. That was my first annoyance. If you bought this you are probably already stressed out from the loss you experienced, the urn frustration won't help. But it's a pretty nice box, and about the only urn I've found that's the right size for my duck's ashes. She weighed about 4 pounds when she was alive, so I knew I would receive very little ashes, although the type of cremation used produces more ashes than traditional cremation. The sack of her ashes fits perfectly in this box with plenty of extra space so I'm not sure why others have had issues with pets this size. This urn would likely contain three sacks of ashes. The big problem with this urn is that the lid doesn't fit. It's very free. The space between the top of the box and the top of the frame inside the box is just over 1cm thick. The insert on the lid, the part that inserts into the box to hold the lid, is approximately 1mm thick. The inside of the box is also a few millimeters wider than the insert on the lid, so the lid moves a bit. As already mentioned, sticking the lid on is not optimal since you have to open the box to get to the glass panes if they break. The box itself is quite thin, so unscrewing the lid is not an option. Having screws visible on the lid wouldn't be ideal either. Since this is the only urn I've found that's small enough for my cute duckling, I plan on trying to modify the lid to make it work, although I honestly don't think the buyer would need to make any changes given that Price. $30 is more than what I paid for an urn and they would do the engraving for free. I'm hoping to add very small hinges and a small decorative latch to this box to make the lid more secure, although I'm not very happy with the idea. The manufacturer of this product can make it perfect with a few tweaks. The lid can be left as is to access the frame portion of the image, but access to the interior of the "urn" will need to be moved down. This way the urn stays sealed if you need to change the pictures or replace the glass and this allows the hidden screws to keep the 'urn' part securely closed.
