So I'll compare this Chromebook to the really cheap Asus Flip. I wouldn't have changed if my Flip's screen hadn't cracked when I crashed and dropped my backpack. Pros: It just looks more expensive/upscale. The Asus Flip looks cheap in my opinion. This laptop looks like a dainty little machine. The screen is clearer and the colors are brighter. Almost $80 cheaper for the same specs. Sure, the Flip has a touchscreen, but not a very good one. I've consistently found that it registers touches all over the screen from where I touched it. The hinge feels very solid, much more so than the Flip. The folding hinge wobbled every time I even used the touchscreen. The touchpad works much better and is a bit larger. HDMI port, SD card port and 2 USB-A ports. Good enough! Cons: The keyboard is noticeably smaller, so I make a few mistakes when typing. I'm sure this will go away as I use the laptop more and more. Charger! Really Samsung? A unique charger these days? It was so nice to only carry one charger for my phone, laptop and Switch (USB-C for all three). This laptop has a unique charger and it's really draining. USB-C is the future and I'm not sure why Samsung is refusing to jump on board. As other reviews say, it gets messy. I would invest in leather or a hard clasp on the case. Overall it's great for the price. I bought this as a last resort because my flip screen is completely destroyed after falling and I'm a college student who needs a laptop. I would definitely choose this laptop over the Flip.
