My baby is 18 months, 32 inches and 26 pounds. Ordered 2T and they are the same length as the other 2T but definitely narrower. This fits my child who has a long torso and we measure size by length rather than width. If you have a small toddler with a bump it may be tighter than expected and I would go up a size and roll up the sleeves.
