Bought in store as a second vise for my workbench. Vises at both ends help hold longer parts. The quality is above average, except e.g. The threaded nut is not made of a brass alloy as stated in the product description, but made of cast iron with a cast instead of milled thread. The carving is rough and the casting looks small. The handle assembly is not the casting shown in the description but is a round milled steel shank. The hole in the handle is drilled to accept a 5/8" x 11 1/8" steel bar handle topped with 7/8" diameter balls. The screw is press fitted or threaded onto the handle assembly as appropriate. Additional Notes : The side of the vise has two 5/16" countersunk holes for attachment to a table and two 1/4" threaded holes for attachment to a wood surface. The outer surface of the vise has two holes with a countersunk head 5/16 to Attach the face plate. The tabs under the bench extend 1 7/16" beyond the edge of the vise surface. You will need about 10" side to side and 4 3/4" deep to install the vise body. May not be flush with the The model number on the box is 7WWCA-R11 I believe there is an error in the product description We hope that Revain will guarantee the accuracy of the product descriptions The vise appears to be in good condition priced for what you get.
