The project is nice but very complicated. Certainly not for beginners, and I'm kind of in between - not new to needles, but not familiar with many different stitches either. I mainly do the continental seam, I think it's called. Very easy. This particular project is very difficult because the holes are quite small and my eyesight is not very good. It also requires the basket weave stitch to be done for the background, which I am unfamiliar with. However, I looked it up online and I think I just need a little practice to learn it. For those familiar with all the different needle sticks, this should be easy. Once this is complete, there will be a good picture whether you are familiar with different stitches or not. hang it up somewhere or give it away. Of course it's a bit difficult for people like me who are somewhere in the middle of the embroidery experience. The project is clearly not for beginners. Will I do this type of project again? Probably no. Anything that's easier on the eyes and less difficult to complete is great for me. However, for more experienced embroiderers, this project is ideal.
