Review on 💅 Quick-drying UV LED Nail Dryer with 36W Mini Curing Lamp - BQ Mini White, Portable Curing Light for Gel Nail Polish by Scott Wilson

I should preface this by saying that I had intention of using this to harden some small parts of a resin printer, so my review is based on experience with it. nails don't. The good: It's small and cheap, and it actually emits UV. white light (safer on the skin, understandably, but slower for the resin to cure). Reason this gets 1 star: The included USB-A to Micro USB cable doesn't work at all, but more importantly, the product posting is completely wrong when it says 36W. First, who has a 36W USB-A power adapter? This would mean 5V 7A which can be dangerous with a cheap cable. When I ordered this I figured it would have its own power supply so the site is very misleading. In addition, even in the box, the manual states that the maximum consumption is 24W, which is still not normal USB performance. I'm curious where that last 12 watts is coming from because if it draws 36 watts it's magic and solved our energy crisis. Also worrying is that the lamp itself says nothing about the wattage requirement. I have a hunch that the lamp will draw 12V 3A but I'm too scared to try it as it could spill melted LEDs all over my desk. As far as curing the resin goes, somehow it worked. So slow. But it's not worth hitting the button dozens of times for the sake of one. I believe this will work decently for nails if you have your own cable.
