I bought this product because I have a new house and have heard/read about all the VOCs that come from using many new building materials. I've tried to research the products as best I can, but it was only after purchasing that I discovered that this particular machine creates something called "ozone" which can actually be very harmful if exposed. I think the manufacturer should have at least warned about the risks of such a machine. especially since it is touted as "purifying" the air! I don't want to expose myself and my children to that and will buy a HEPA filter instead. Even if I have to clean it regularly, I think it would be the best option for us! I have already returned the product at the time of writing this review.
