Review on RIYO Heavy-Duty Electric Pencil Sharpener with Adapter/Battery - Ideal for No.2 (6-8mm) and Colored Pencils in School, Classroom, Office, and Home by Jennifer Roberts

I was specifically looking for a sharpener that wouldn't ruin my crayons. The sharpener works great with graphite, never a problem but I would say at least half the time I try to sharpen a colored pencil it breaks and sticks. No matter how gently or evenly you hold a pencil it will inevitably break, jam and unlike most quality sharpeners the blade will not pop out and the pipe cleaner will hardly eject the broken pencil. Right on the page it says "Lifetime Warranty" but when I submitted a replacement request I was told that my replacement window was closed. So I'm stuck with a broken sharpener chewing on pencils more valuable than their own existence. Terrible.
