The first few times it was difficult to set up. The first time I used it when I had to abruptly change lanes to avoid colliding with another driver, it flew out of the vent I had it attached to and the phone, luckily in a phone case, went with it. I used it for direction, not purpose. So much for that. Send it back, throw it away or try again! Got cheap, got what I paid for. I like using this, it puts my driving directions software where I can see it. Due to where the audio output is on my phone, the part below blocks it, so I have to lay the phone horizontally to connect the output to hear it on the radio, and the travel directions are wide, not high. Big suits me better. That's really the only negative I have. It comes in a brown cardboard box which is very recyclable which is a plus for me.
