My TV speakers are fine but the sound kind of comes out and goes straight into the wall so while it's quiet for me it's loud for the person in the room next to me. So I bought this on a whim. This is a great little soundbar for the price. Not too big and comes with all cables listed. Especially pleased with the presence of an optical cable. My only issue (and why I put the stars on it) is that the remote didn't work right out of the box. I tried three different pairs of batteries, nothing. It wouldn't be a big deal if you could just contact support and send in a new remote, but when I asked I was told I would have to return the entire package and exchange it for a different one. I didn't want to repack everything and wait for them to come to them, just waiting to return a working one so looks like I'm stuck with a broken remote. Getting this far with technology sucks and I still have to get up and change the volume manually.
