Love them. Bought 2 pairs and no complaints, they are strong steel scissors as before that can be disassembled and sharpened. Good weight in hand but too heavy. The copper plating (I'm guessing a plating based on the price) has a clear finish so it won't fade or patinate. No more throwing away scissors. This will probably be the last pair of scissors I will ever buy. Very happy with my purchase. A few reviewers said something about something on the pen. There are a few small blemishes where the clear coat has shifted a little, presumably due to the movement of the scissors, but that doesn't detract from the great looks or quality of the scissors and I'm quite a picky perfectionist. I would buy them again if I had to buy scissors again. Reminds me of my grandmother's scissors. NOT safe for children's crafts as they are quite sharp.
