I have had several LED bulbs over the years and my first observations were good but not great. Light output was decent and the bulbs were very light compared to the heavy and old GE options. The reason I chose these bulbs was as a reasonable replacement for Phillips Hue bulbs which I felt died within a year or two of use. I hope that the lifespan of these lamps will be much longer. My main issue with these bulbs compared to other non-dimmable LED bulbs I've had is that they are very sensitive to voltage fluctuations. Old school incandescent bulbs and explicitly dimmable LED bulbs usually have this problem, but this is my first experience with such a sensitive non-dimmable LED bulb. For example, when your air conditioner turns on and the voltage drops a bit, these lights will flicker. If you have a device plugged into the same outlet or circuit, e.g. B. a heater, these lights flicker. I thought this behavior would be a thing of the past with LED bulbs, but I'm wondering if GE lowered the price here and decided not to use the capacitor from older models and their competitors. Clicking problems with voltage fluctuations are not enough for me to send back because the value and the rest of the operation is acceptable. If they last longer than the Hue bulbs, I'll be happy. But since they have this quirk, I'll probably look for another model/brand to avoid this minor annoyance.
