After a while the cable stopped working. If I used it, I couldn't move with my Macbook because it would unmount. I have no idea what happened to the cable because I bought it around the same time last year. Today I tried to plug it in several times and the message is "Turn off accessories that use too much power to turn USB devices back on". I did a little research and it seems to be the cable making it say that. Because of this I can't retrieve my files and I don't know what to do. It was working great until the cable started giving me problems a few months ago.
