Tried to connect to TV via HDMI and the TV did not receive a signal from the PC. I tried again on the monitor, the result is the same. I tried the TV, monitor and HDMI cable with 2 other computers and they all worked great. Something is obviously wrong with this computer, so I contacted ACER to fix the problem. They wouldn't accept it. I was told to make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the graphics card and call tech support. This comment really annoyed me as there is only one HDMI port on this computer and it is on the graphics card. A visit to the ACER support site makes it clear that this is a common problem and there doesn't seem to be any known fix. I used to like ACER products, but now I doubt their quality. I don't want bad customer support so I decided to return it. A few more dark things with this computer. Has two serial numbers. One on the side and one below. On the ACER support site, one of the serial numbers says the computer was bought in April and I bought it in May. One of the clips holding the RAM was partially broken but still held the RAM in place. I'm pretty sure the computer was returned defective and then repackaged and sold to me.
