I have GoPro Hero5. I bought this camera as a rear view camera for a second test. Anyone who speaks of the quirks of this camera misses the point. GoPro has the same number of quirks. All cameras have a learning curve. However, AKASO's photos are amazing. The video quality is very good. The fact that I can share accessories with a GoPro is really cool. I bought some extra batteries so I have 4 of them which is enough for my use. I paired it with a cheap accessory pack for less than $20 and got great dual video footage while riding my ATV. I placed this camera in a riskier position (to protect my GoPro from damage) and it didn't disappoint. What I find really funny is that the price of this camera is equivalent to buying an accessory pack from GoPro for their camera. Now it doesn't capture 4K video as well as a GoPro, but I put footage from both films together and it's hard to tell how much of the footage was shot on the GoPro versus how much was shot on the AKASO. To be honest I can see a difference in color contrast quality in low light but the video still looks great and I wouldn't have seen it if the frames weren't next to each other. A small adjustment with my film editing software made the footage the same. I also find the remote much more useful here than talking to the camera to start a recording or snap a picture. For a camera that costs $60 compared to my $400 GoPro, that's great! If you're thinking about spending the majority of your money on a GoPro and you see that they don't compare, you're terribly mistaken.
