New hardtail

Essential for plus hardtails like the Trek Stache rear. Get rid of jumping on plus tires, smoother ride, less twisting, more grip, great rim protection. The only downside is the weight, it's not that heavy.

Sit down let's talk for a minute (all good)

I'll be as brief as possible while still giving the big picture: I have them on three bikes and am in the process of buying another one for my ultimate tire . They absolutely make a difference and do exactly what they are supposed to do. I'm a fairly heavy rider at 220 pounds or so and they let me ride a solid 5psi lighter than usual. Most importantly, I now have big 2.8" tires and they are notorious for squirming in the bike park. The plane stops it. Now for the installation: Yes, with the…

Not wide enough/fat for 20x4 tires

Wanted to use this to keep my tubeless 20x4 tires from losing bead on a cold morning commute. This could help prevent rim damage. but the foam can be 3 inches wide, not wide enough to fill the tire more than 1/2 of the way. The diameter isn't wide enough either, even if I halve it lengthwise to "fix" the edge of the bead from the inside. Came back because it advertised 4" wide tires but clearly wasn't designed for it and I won't assemble anything and use $80 foam that doesn't work and I can't…

easy installation, no more worn rims

Each set fits ONE tire only. If you are installing wheels for the first time, you will need two sets. The most important thing to pay attention to in these cases. Fitting a tubeless tire takes longer than fitting a Vittoria Air Liner and requires no special tools. Except maybe a nail to make a hole for the tie to connect the two ends. Surprisingly easy installation: size/cut/cable ties/rim mount (with the bead already fitted) and you're done. If it lasts longer than 5 minutes, it's because you…

No need to slow down on rectangular obstacles!

I have a medium 2.5" model for my Stans Baron (35mm internal width) with Rocket Ron's 27.5x2.8 sealed tubeless tires. The insert has a gap between the tires of about 4-6 mm. It fits perfectly and the insert doesn't dangle inward once you clip it to the right size. Each insert weighs 213 grams and is cut to fit 27.5 (or 650b) rims. I ran my tires at 0 and 5-8psi to see if they could be used as runflat tires and yes you can! The tire stayed on the bead and I was able to climb the hill in slow…
